WINTER VACATION IN GASTEIN
YOGA
True to our Grand Lighthouse mission 'Music, Après Ski & Winter Wellness', we are also offering various YOGA sessions.
Together with our retreat partner Miramonte - presented by Waterdrop - there will be 5 yoga sessions from Thursday to Sunday (see timetable for times), each limited to 25 people, the cost is 15 Euros by person (reduced with LHF wristband). As a gift from us, if you choose the morning session on Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 11 am, these sessions are free (included in the Festival Pass).

SKIING
Dorfgastein, the first village in the valley, offers numerous slopes on the Dorfgastein-Großarltal ski circuit. Ski slopes as far as the eye can see .
The ski resorts of Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gastein are connected by the Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel ski area. You can also take your turns on the Graukogel in Bad Gastein.
Fancy the highest point of the Ski amadé? Then off to Sportgastein. The ski area Sportgastein, takes you up to 2,686 meters. Due to the ideal location, the slope conditions are still very good even at higher temperatures and there is absolute snow guarantee here even in spring. Did you know that Sportgastein is one of the freeride hotspots in the Austrian Alps?

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
These are the best ingredients for your active winter holiday in Gastein. The winter sun makes the perfectly groomed trails glisten, powdery snow trickles to the ground from the trees all around. The imposing panorama of the mountain world completes the picture. If you come to Gastein for classic cross-country skiing or skating, a wonderful cross-country region with different levels of difficulty opens up to you. A fantastic cross-country skiing holiday awaits you.

TOBOGGANING
Do you love speed? On the toboggan runs in Gastein it's brisk - without skis or board.
With up to 3.5 kilometers in length, both are ideal for a family afternoon. On the Aeroplan natural toboggan run on the Schlossalm, you will find the best conditions for a little duel between parents and children when the snow conditions are good. Fast sequences of curves and the wide track require a lot of skill and the right braking and acceleration technique.
If you haven't exhausted yourself enough on the slopes in the Gastein Valley during the day, you can perfect your curve technique on the Bellevue Alm natural toboggan run. Here the experience already begins with the ascent, because one of the last active one-seater chairlifts takes you safely up to the Bellevue Alm. Thanks to the lighting until midnight, you will also have enough visibility during the overtaking maneuvers.
