Zanzibar Gathering is a festival, kind of - but one that's stretched out to leave room for days off and all the moments in between.

It's an experience where you can choose your own pace: more holiday or more partying, more exploring or simply taking it pole pole - slowly, as the locals in Zanzibar say and spending time with friends, old and new.

This January, we're returning to the island knowing that Zanzibar Gathering will take a pause in 2028. The timing of the Gathering has always been shaped by the moon, the tides, and now Ramadan, which is gradually moving into our usual dates. So, for 2028, weve decided to pause. What happens after that, we don't know. Maybe 2028 will simply be a pause. Maybe we'll look back at these five years as the Zanzibar era. We're not calling 2027 the last one. But it might be. If you've ever thought about experiencing Zanzibar Gathering, this might be the time.

This experience blends daytime beach parties, late-night club sessions, and special adventures like sandbank and secret island expeditions. There's enough time to lose yourself on the dance floor, while still having space to explore the wonders of Zanzibar.
