Nizar Sarakbi
Nizar Sarakbi is a Vienna-based DJ, producer, and restless digger with a taste that swerves between the unexpected and the undeniable. Born in Kyiv and raised on a wide sonic spectrum—from classical to dub—he draws from a deep well of musical curiosity rooted in the spirit of Closer’s legendary community. Now based in Vienna, Nizar co-runs the Sonic Resistance collective, helps steer the city’s underground and shares gems and overlooked treasures through his YouTube platform. His deep contribution to the well-rooted project and community appointment The Mudd Show reflects just a fragment of his broader musical environment and treatment - where eclecticism meets intention, storytelling and extravaganza.

His sets—spanning trippy breaks, deep house oddities, dubbed-out techno, and euphoric proggycurveballs—have lit up some of Europe’s most forward-thinking dance floors, including Blitz in Munich, Macadam in Nantes, PRST in Wien, Jasna1 in Warsaw, and Fuchs2 x ICKPA in Prague. A proud member of the Paradise Garten family, Nizar brings a rare mix of instinct, precision, and unpredictability to every booth he steps into. This isn’t nostalgia or trend-chasing—it’s a sound world built on instinct, trust, and movement. Nizar's productions are marked by a commitment to sonic exploration and a refusal to be confined by genre boundaries. His work often bridges between the dancefloor and introspective listening, weaving together elements from hypnotic housey grooves, minimalist techno, early 2000 progressive sound, dub and broken beats to create a unique and compelling sound.  2025 sees him bringing his distinct energy to Lighthouse Festival, Butik Festival and Mahagoniamong the other shows with his partner Katia Curie, further cementing his place in Europe's underground constellation.
